Ship your order to a Boston Guideshop Location & come try it on. Love it?? You can leave with it same day. Not the right fit? We'll handle returning or exchanging it. No fees, no returns.

How do I make an appointment?
Ship. Try. Buy. appointments can be made for any of our three Boston Guideshop locations: Seaport, Prudential Center, and Back Bay.

Appointments are scheduled 6 days in advance to allow time to work with our Guides to build your ideal cart, ship your order to the store, and get your fitting room ready!

There is no authorization required on your payment method to create this appointment or to reserve the items.

To make an appointment:
  1. Sign in to your account at If you don't have an account, please create one here or contact the Guideshop or Ninjas so they can help!
  2. Once you have an account, you can make the appointment here by selecting the "Ship. Try. Buy." appointment type.
  3. Select the Boston Guideshop location of your choice, the date and the time of your appointment.
  4. Select whether you'd like to fill in the items you want or work with our Guides to build your fitting room.

How do I choose the items I want?
First, make an appointment via the steps above.

If you already know what you'd like to try, you can fill in up to 12 items with the product name, color, size and fit, etc. (or by pasting the link to the item!) on the appointment page, e.g., Product Name (Stretch Washed Chinos), Color Name (Jet Blues), Fit (Athletic), Waist (30"), Inseam (32").

You're welcome to choose less than 12 items. You can also request that the Guideshop fill in any remaining spots with some items for you to try.

If you're unsure of what you'd like to try, we've got a survey for that! In your confirmation email from the Guideshop, we'll provide you with a Google Survey. By answering a few questions about your sizing, budget, and style preferences, you'll help us to get a better idea of your personal style!

Do I need to make an appointment?
For this service, appointments are necessary. The Guideshop will work with you to build the best fitting room for you so your items will be ready for you at the time of your visit.

Why isn't this available outside of Boston?
We're piloting this program in Boston. Once we understand demand for this type of appointment, we hope to expand this service to other markets.

Can I order Final Sale items?
Yes, there are currently no exclusions from this program.

Can I change my order once it has been placed?
We're unable to change the contents of the order once it has been placed. If you want to add an item, feel free to reach out to the Guideshop. If you no longer want an item, the Guideshop will handle the return - so no worries there!

How does the appointment work?
Once you've selected the products you want to try or built your fitting room with our Guides, your order will deliver directly to the store. When you arrive for your appointment, everything you ordered will be ready for you to try on.

Do I have to buy everything that I order?
No, you'll only pay for what you want to keep. If you love it, you can leave with it that day. We'll handle the returns so you don't have to.

When will I be charged?
You'll be charged for only the items you choose to keep at the time of your appointment.

Can I pay with a gift card?
You're welcome to pay for the items you want to keep with a Bonobos gift card at the time of your appointment. We currently do not accept any type of prepaid gift card such as Visa or Amex.

Why don't you need my credit card?
We don't need any credit card information ahead of the appointment because there are no fees or authorizations. We'll only charge for the items you want to keep at the time of your appointment. We believe in free shipping & free returns - that applies here too!

What if none of the items fit me?
No need to worry about sending back any returns. You can leave any items that don't work for you with the Guideshop. If you need a different size, we're happy to help. We carry a full size run in store and can order additional items to ship to home.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?
Just get in touch with your chosen Guideshop location. You can find their number listed here, or you can send your Guide an email by replying to their appointment confirmation email. They'll hold on to your order in the Guideshop for up to 2 days, so no worries if you need to reschedule.

I can't find my email confirmation.
Sometimes these emails get filtered out to spam, junk, or even trash. We recommend doing a search in your inbox for an email from If nothing turns up, feel free to check in with the Guideshop by calling them directly.

Do you offer alterations?
Sorry, we don't currently offer any tailoring services. However, you can ask your Guide for a recommended tailor in your area. We've got a pretty good list based on recommendations from your awesome customers.
